Olivet Cemetery on the National Regi ster of Historic Places. We vvould be most happ y to work with you on this project. Perhaps the best advice I can offer vvould be to enlist the help of Dr. C. Van West at the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University. His office has completed a statewide assessment of rural AfricanAmerican churches in Tennessee. and has recently written a National Register nomination for an African-American cemetery in Sullivan County. Dr. \Vest is very familiar with this t ype of resource. and he may have a graduate student'' ho could work on this nomination as a class project. He can be reached at the following address: Dr. C. Van \\1st Center for Historic Preservation Middle Tennessee State University Box 80 Murfreesboro.
