ITEM TWO: I give and bequeath to my cousin, Gertrude Bernhardt of St. Louis, Missouri, the sum of One thousand ($1000.00) dollars, if she be living at the time of my death. ~ ITEM THREE: (a) I give and bequeath to Russell Hill Chapter UDC, Trenton, Tennessee, the sum of one thousand ($1000.00) dollars in memory of my dear sister, Katheri e Freed, who was always very close to and fond of this organization. (b) I give and bequeath to the Laura Harlan-Mack Morris Home for the Aged, Trenton, Tennessee the sum of one thousand ($1000 . 00) dollars. (c) I give and bequeath unto the City of Trenton, Tennessee, for use in connection with the Joe Freed Memorial Play Ground the sum of one thousand ($1000.00) dollars. (d) I give and bequeath unto the City of Trenton,Tennessee for use in connection with Freed Field at Trenton, Tennessee the sum of one thousand ($1000.00 dollars. (e) I give and bequeath to Temple B' Nai Israel, Jackson, Tennessee, as a memorial to my deceased parents, Julius and Henrietta Freed the sum of one thousand ($1000.00) dollars. ITEM FOUR: I give and bequeath to each of my grandnieces and grandnephews, namel , Judy Curtis, Joel Curtis, Deborah Curtis, Pamela Page One of my Will Helen Freed Curtis, Roger Freed, Betsy Freed, Lisa Freed and each and every grandnephew and grandniece hereafter born to or adopted by any of my nephews or nieces prior to my death, the sum of one thousand ($1000.00) each; and to my grandnieces, Kathy Freed and Katherine Ann Freed, the sum of Twenty-five hundred ($2500.00) dollars each. The latt r two are named for my dear sister, Katherine, whom we called "Katie." My executors shall pay over each legacy bequea thed by this item to the parent or other person then havingcustody of such grandniece or grandnephew, if such grandniece or grandnephew is a mi nor, · and the receipt for such legacy executed by such person shall constiture a full and complete discharge of my executors in respect to such legacy. ITEM FIVE: I give and bequeath untomy two brothers, Julian and Sylvane Freed, all of my interest in any furniture, furnishings, equipment and household effects, wherever situated, which I may own at the t i me of my death, share and share ali ke, or to the survivor of them, if one of them should pre-decease me. ITEM SIX: I have a sm al l amount of personal effects, such as clothing, watch and j ewelry. I give and bequeath those to my two br o thers , Juli an Freed and Sylvane Freed, as keepsakes. ITEM SEVEN: I give, devise and bequeath to my brothers, Julian and Sylvane Freed as joint tenants, and not as tenants in common, an estate for their lives in my home on Eaton Street, and the lands that are appurtenant thereto and a part thereof, owned by me in theCity of Trenton, County of Gibson,State of Tennessee, which estate shall terminate upon the death of the survivor of said two a forem entioned brothers.
