Description	The bulletin for the Montgomery High School Homecoming Worship Services.
Historical Notes	Montgomery High School, in Lexington, Tennessee, was built from 1948-1950 and opened in 1950. It served African-American students in rural Middle and West Tennessee counties, including Henderson, Wayne, Perry, Benton, Decatur, and Madison. The gymnasium was built in 1953. The current school building was built on the site of the Montgomery School, a Rosenwald Fund school, built in 1923 to replace the Lexington Colored School which was in another location. The Montgomery School became Montgomery High School in 1927. Montgomery High School was in operation until 1967 when all county schools were desegregated. The school building remained a part of the community and served as a community center run by the Alumni Association. In 1997, the gymnasium was renovated and renamed Montgomery-Bond-Robinson Community Center. Montgomery Head Start uses a portion of the original school building.
