"In the 9th Civil District of Rutherford County, Tennessee, beginning at a point in the Westerly boundary of the Dixie Highway which point is south 41 deg. 36’ East 158.1 feet from a point in the Westerly side of said highway, said latter point being in line with the southerly boundary of the National Cemetery, as marked on the ground by stone monuments at the southerly corners, thence with said highway south 41 degs. 36’ East 350.0 feet; thence South 48 degs. 40 feet West 122,010 feet thence North 41 degs. 36’ West 350.0 feet thence North 41 degs. 36’ West 350.0 feet, thence North 48 degs. 40’ East 1220.0 feet to the point of beginning. This tract obtaining 9.8 acres, more or less, is tract no. 3 of the W. T. Henderson division, a plat of which is recorded in book 54 page 250 in the register’s office of Rutherford County, Tennessee less a strip 2510 feet wide along the Easterly side of Tract no. 3, which has been acquired by the state of Tennessee for the Dixie Highway." |
