"Situated in the 9th district of said County, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northerly boundary of a lane known as the Orr Lane, which point is North 88 degrees 06’ West 1106.1 feet from the intersection of the Northerly boundary intersection with the center line of Ranson (formerly Wilkinson) Pike the center line of Van Cleave Lane, bears North 3 degrees 19’ East 2669.4 feet to the Northerly boundary of Orr Lane; thence North 3 degrees 19’ East776.1 feet to the NE corner of a tract owned by the Mount Olivet Missionary Baptist Church; thence North 6 degrees 31’ East 919.4 feet to the Westerly boundary of the Dixie Highway); thence with the Northerly boundary of Orr Lane, which is also the Southerly boundary of tract owned by Andrew Avent Heirs, Froth 88 degrees 06’ West 84.5 feet to the Northeast corner of a tract owned by Thaddeus Cowan; thence with the Easterly boundary of Thaddeus Cowan, south 4 degrees 19’ West 260.2 feet to a point in the Northerly boundary of a tract owned by Will and Mary Freeman; thence with the Northerly boundary of Will and Mary Freeman, South 88 degrees 24’ East 84.5 feet to the Southwest corner of a tract owned by Nannie Bell Black ; thence with the Westerly boundary of Nannie Bell Black; thence with the Westerly boundary of Nannie Bell black, North 4 degrees 19’ East 259.8 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.5 acres, more or less. Being the same property conveyed to Thomas Burke, by deed from Ed Orr and wife, Josephine Orr, dated April 7, 1886, and of record in book 30, page 90, Register’s Office for said County. The said Thomas Burke is now deceased and the said Isabella Burke is his widow and the said Lewis Burke and Florence Smith are his only heirs." |
