Dear
Sir
:
Arrangements
have been
made
by
which
the
salary
of a
male
white
teacher
can
be
paid
at
Lebanon
for the
remainder
of the
school
year
, on
condition
that
you
will
let
the
Bureau
have the
use
of
your
church
in that
place
free
of
charge
. The
teacher
shall
be
selected
by
Dr
.
Rust
and
presuming
that
you
will
reply
in the
affirmative
I
will
invite
him
today
to
make
a
selection
and
secure
transportation
and have the
teacher
on the
ground
as
soon
as
possible
.
It
may
not be
best
for
you
to
exclude
Mr
.
Sharp
until
we
hear
from
Dr
.
Rust
yet
I
shall
leave
the
matter
of
getting
him
out
of the
house
entirely
up
to
you
. The
Dr
.
ought
to have a
teacher
ready
and
secure
transportation
in the
course
of
two
weeks
.
Let
me
hear
from
you
soon
.
Yours
Fraternally
