Owing
to the
severe
illness
&
subsequent
death
of a
member
of
my
family
I
did
not
make
a
report
for
July
of
community
happenings

both

Although
the
K

K
.
Klan
have been
very
[illegible]
in this
community
for the
last
[illegible]
month
[illegible]
been
interested
,
except
that by
[illegible]
made
some
hard
thoughts
,
[illegible]
armed
men
came
into
my
school
about
two
weeks
time
after
one
of
my
scholars
, but he had
left

they
came
in,
now
safe
in
