Elizabeth Kerr, executrix of the estate of H.H. Kerr (Deceased), transfers to Elnora Peyton 4.1 acres for the sum of twenty-five dollars. This deed served as formal conveyance of title for property that Elnora Peyton acquired from H.H. Kerr at an undisclosed prior date. |

"Beginning on a cedar tree in J. Henderson’s south boundary line; at bagwell’s or Hurt’s N.E. corner, and the same being the Northwest corner of this tract, or parcel being described and running thence S. 88 & ½” E, 24 poles to post in fence [Low] Harding’s N.W. corner; thence S. 2 & ½” E 26 poles to the north edge of the kerr lane, thence west 26.5 poles to iron pins in bagwell’s or Hurt’s east line; thence n. 4” E. 29.2 poles to the beginning, containing 4.1 acres. If this is not an accurate description of the land intended to be conveyed to Elnora peyton, it is the object and intention of this instrument to convey to her, all the real estate left by H.H. Kerr, deceased in the above mentioned section of the 9th district of Rutherford County, that has not been heretofore conveyed by the undersigned as executrix of her husband, H.H Kerr, deceased." |
