Tracts 29 and 32 on Stones River National Military Park Commission Map, 1929. There is no reference that details each parcel of land. The original deed is titled Josephine Orr et als to (DEED) Nannie Bell Black as found in book 65, p. 191 in the Rutherford County Deeds office. This deed bears the date of June 19, 1920, and conveys the purchase of the two tracts of land from Josephine Orr, widow of Ed Orr, to Nannie Bell Black. |

"First Tract: Beginning at a point in the Northerly boundary of a lane Known as the Orr Lane, which point is North 88* 06’ West 938.1 feet from the intersection of the Northerly boundary of Orr Lane and the center line of Van Cleve Lane; thence with the Northerly boundary of Orr Lane, which is also the Southerly boundary of tracts owned by Robert Avent and Andrew Avent Heirs, North 88 * 06’ West 168.0 feet to the Northeast corner of a tract owned by Isabella Burke, thence with the Easterly boundary of Isabella Burke, South 4* 18’ West 259.8 feet to a point in the northerly boundary of a tract owned by Will and Mary Freeman; thence with the Northerly boundary of Will and Mary Freeman, South 88* 24’ East 168.0 feet to the Southwest corner of a tract owned by the Ed Orr Estate; thence with the Westerly boundary of Ed Orr Estate, North 4* 19’ East 259.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.0 acre, more or less.
