"Line in the Murfreesboro Civil District of Rutherford County, beginning at a stake a large black oak and cherry tree pointers, thence running North 84 degrees East 166 poles to a stake in west boundary line of the Cowan tract, thence North 2 degrees West 36 1/3 poles, thence South 86 ¾ West 180 poles, thence South 22 degrees East 44 ½ poles to the beginning, being the 1/3 part of 130 acre tract conveyed by Hiram Jenkins, W.R. Jenkins, Nimrod Jenkins and ourselves to said Alice Kerr on the 29th of October 1869." |
