"Situated in the 9th Civil District of said County, described according to a blue print of a survey thereof made and furnished by the District Engineer’s Office at Nashville, Tennessee, as follows: Beginning on the Westerly margin of the Dixie Highway, 508.1 feet southerly from the point opposite the souther1y line of the National Cemetery; running thence with the Westerly margin of the Dixie Highway, South 41° 36’ East 350 feet to the Northeast corner of the G.H. Minter Estate; thence with the North line of said Minter Estate, South 48° 40’ West 1220 feet to Will Cole’s line; thence with Cole’s line, North 41° 36’ West 350 feet to Vernon K. Earthman’s line; thence with Earthman’s line, North 48 4O East 1220 feet to the beginning, containing 9.8 acres, more or less, and being tract No. 2 of the W.T. Henderson Divison, a plat of which is of record in book 54, page 250, Register’s Office for said County less a strip 25 feet wide along the Easterly side of said tract, which has been acquired by the State of Tennessee, for the Dixie Highway. Being part of the same property assigned to the undersigned Harold M. Henderson by deed of partition among the heirs of W.T. Henderson, deceased dated May 18, 1912, and of record in book 55, page 172, said. Register’s Office. The above described property is conveyed subject to an easement or right of way granted to the Tennessee Power Company from Harold H. Henderson and which is of record in book 56, page 66, Register’ s Office for Rutherford County, Tennessee" |
